Skating with the stars After watching the auditions for American Idol, I watched the series premier of Skating with celebrities. It's a show that pairs one experienced figure skater with a novice skater from the world of entertainment. Aside from watching skating competitions ever since Scott Hamilton won the gold in 84, I've seen skating up close. I can tell you that it's a LOT harder than it looks on TV. It was pretty cool. The novices were a bit awkward, but nobody fell on their butts, and a few of them managed to throw in some pretty impressive moves. I look forward to watching the rest of the series. My prediction is that Todd Bridges is going to be the first one booted off next week. | BACK |
