Monday: You're meant for big things, yes. But maybe they aren't going to happen today. Or at least, there's nothing you can do to make them happen today. But that doesn't mean they aren't getting closer every day in every way -- it's just that sometimes you can't do much to give them a push. So relax, kick back and let big things come to you. Now's your chance to enjoy a little breather. Teusday: Yes, you're good at your job, you're intelligent, you love to see new things, you keep up-to-date with politics, you work out. But it's really the people who love you who are the most important things in your life. Think about what is happening in your emotional life and within your circle. Chances are, if there are any problems, you're the first person your loved ones are going to turn to Wednesday: No matter what is happening in your social circle -- and at the moment, there could be a heck of a lot going on -- you are always ready to lend an ear. Is it because you're such a good friend? Or because you have such a good heart? Is it because you're tuned in to other people's emotional lives? Or because you're just exceptionally nice? Maybe it's some combination of all those things. Thursday: You could start the day lending an ear to a friend who has a crisis on their hands. Then, after providing a strong shoulder and the emotional equivalent of a cup of tea, your energies shift to your own emotional arenas in the afternoon. You will be taking a long, hard look at what you're getting and what you still need. Then ask yourself how you can get those needs met. Friday: Sometimes doing something -- if it's the right thing, of course -- is the best way to come to a place of rest. For you, especially today, finding a creative outlet and using it to put your inner life into some kind of external expression could be just what you need. Whether you sing, dance, paint or talk to people, it's this positive activity that will bring you the peace and quiet you've been looking to achieve. Sat: In the morning, you're a bundle of creative energy. You're planting herbs in your window boxes, adding primroses along the sidewalk, and watering the tulips in the back. It's spring, and there's just a whole lot of good, generative energy going around. The afternoon looks like a real fix-it time: If there are leaky faucets, replace the leaky part. If you've got a flat tire on your bicycle, patch it (the weather is good enough to go riding, or just about). Sew up holes in your socks. You'll feel darned good by the end of the day. Sun: You've reached a real turning point, and you could react in a whole new way. When you reach a difficult point in your work or your relationship, what do you usually do? Back off? Try to appease the other person? Concede too much too soon? Today is the day to try something different. Don't let guilt or anything else lead you to do something that's not right for you. Stick to your position and you'll get what you need. 1960 is the year of the rat. Remarkably easy to get along with, hard working and thrifty, he will be generous only to those he is inordinately fond of, so if you get an expensive gift from him, you should certainly rate yourself high in his esteem. However, in spite of his penny-pinching ways, he will never be found wanting for admirers as he emits such fantastic appeal. The next year of the rat will be 2008. |
