Barb's Excellent adventure

Hey everyone!
I am back and the worse for wear:) I met Connie, Karen, Ann, Yvette, Jackie(not on boards, friend of Yvette's), Jennifer and Gail. They are all nice women
I was 18 miles from home when I realized I left my ticket at home, had to turn around, then on my way to Pittsburgh ran into tons of road construction. When I got into Pittsburgh there was even more road construction I got so lost in Pittsburgh, didn't get to the hotel until 6:30pm.
Met Connie and Anne in the lobby, then Yvette and Jackie. We went to eat at an Irish bar then went back to hotel and met Karen. We spent some time in the bar and saw the guy from Trading Spaces, Ty Pennington not sure on his name :)
The next day we walked to the heinz field around 9:30 or 10am. Karen and I stood in line until 1pm when they were opening the gates, we were the first in line and we ran like hell and managed to get up front:) Unfortunately, there was a big gap between front row and stage for security and photogs. Stage was pretty high up as well. So karen and I were standing there thru all the bands until the lepps came on at 7:10. Connie and the rest had seats on the side so we didn't meet up again until after lepps. They all looked really good Couldn't see Rick very well at all because of amps and light equip.
I can't remember all the songs they played or in what order but here are the ones I remember...Foolin, Slang, Rock of ages, Animal, Photograph, 4 letter word. Joe did his microphone tricks. Sav did the bangs lift on our side of stage didn't get a pic of it though security kept getting in my way and so did other photogs who were trying to take pics. I had to be pulled out of up front before last two songs (I have very bruised breasts, upper arms and sunburn) I could hardly move so I wasn't able to dance(not that I can anyways :)
I was singing along to every song and Sav smiled my way a couple of times, Joe looked directly our way a few times and I sang right back to him *sigh* Phil looked our way a good bit it seemed. Viv only came over to our side once or twice. We were on Joe and Phil's side of stage. After Lepps were over we went out to the concourse and bought tee shirts, I bought the white one with the british flag X with Def Leppard on it, Karen bought a black one with guys on front and tour dates for second leg of tour on back. Met Jennifer briefly, really nice woman :)
Then hooked up with Yvette and Jackie, met Gail out in fair area, then hooked back up with Connie and Anne outside. We went back to the hotel and ordered pizza, chatted about the concert. I didn't get to meet any of the band So my birthday wish did not come true But I had a blast anyways
The guys looked really good!!!
That was the closest I have ever been other than seeing Joe go in for soundcheck at the Pittsburgh show in March. I couldn't believe I was so close:) Now I know how others who have been that close must have felt. I can't even describe it:)
Oh, my glasses got broken and I ripped my contact lens, had to drive home not being able to see very well:)
Sorry if the pics might be slightly blurry because I was being pushed from all sides the whole time:)
